George Carlin meets the "invisible man in the sky!" Unless in the final moments of his life, he suddenly decided to believe in the Savior he spent his
entire life and career publicly mocking, George Carlin's soul is now burning in hell for all eternity. It has been sad to watch the media coverage of
his death, lauding him as some great entertainer, when all he did was bring filthy language into the mainstream while making jokes about the existence
of God, Jesus, the Bible, and mocking anyone who was "foolish enough to believe in such stories."
George Carlin is the poster boy for other entertainers like Bill Maher and Kathy Griffin, but also those in your family, circle of friends, people you work
with or go to school with, who have chosen to believe there is no God, that believing in Jesus is for the weak, and the Bible is nothing but a book of
fiction. Carlin represents all of those people in your life who have chosen to reject the Truth and live in rebellion to God and His Word, and unless
they turn their heart to Jesus, will die and be lost for all eternity just like Carlin.
The Bible says at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, and EVERY tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The actual Greek in this passage says MUST
bow. The fact is my friend, there will come a day in the life of EVERY living person when they will bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him as Lord! The
only question that remains is WHEN they will do it. Sunday night, George Carlin bowed to King Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord before he was cast into
the everlasting punishment of hell!
God has given man the free will to accept His free gift of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ, or reject that gift. That is a choice each person
must make during their life. The fact is, the Bible warns us that tomorrow is promised to none of us. That is why the Word says TODAY is the day of salvation.
The reality is, you may not see tomorrow. So the ultimate choice each living person has to make is to bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him as Lord and
receive God's free gift of everlasting life, or reject Christ in this life and spend eternity separated from God.
EVEN THOUGH A PERSON MAY CHOOSE TO REJECT CHRIST DURING THIS LIFE, THERE WILL COME A MOMENT WHEN THEY DIE AND STAND BEFORE GOD WHEN THEY WILL BOW THEIR
KNEE TO JESUS AND CONFESS HIM TO BE LORD BEFORE THEY ARE SENTENCED TO ETERNITY IN HELL!!!
so your saying people like carlos mencia and commics that have a little fun are going to hell? so hell, i guesss i'm going there as well. sounds good to me. now excuse me while i go back to listening to slipknot and stuff. hahahahhahahahhaha!!!!!
i don't give a flying fuck. so all you little pussy whippped bitches need to get a sence of humor...
i mean don't get me wrong. i am not some gauth guy or whatever but come on, it is just comedy and people are having fun. quite frankly, when you die you die and that is it. now i did not mean to come off as an ass on that last post but i said how i felt and i don't regret it. i have nothing against christians. but sometimes i honestly think you guys go a little too far. just my say... and i don't even want to argue cuz it is just not worth it. so, ok, i may be going to hell when i die cuz i listen to slipknot or happen to enjoy george carlin's comedy. i think i will enjoy it a little more now :). so, i am done here. later to you all...
i think rail racer has done george carlin a disservice. the man might have been offencive to some, but he was bloody funny, and he might have made rail racer laugh at one time, for if rail racer didn't want to hear george's words, he would not have known about, let alone posted a note about his death. rail racer, you are a fundimentalist biggotted tosser! end of story.
appologies for my language in the last post. even so, my sentiments re rail racer's writings remain the same. i am only appologising because the board is safe hayvern.
Interesting view there railway sir.
people's, don't forget everyone's right to express an opinion. and it is "religion topics" after all. If you don't want to read this board, don't.
RW sir, in reading this board and your other however, you need to be careful with forcing your opinions on everyone else. You can't do that.
like the way you wrote your story thing
I got this from an e-mail. So I thaught people might want to have there say.
What to keep in mind when listening to an entertainer is he's just that an entertainer. george Carlin like Don Rickles and any other decent commedian will create a charicter and that's all you see. Thikning on his rants and raves about religion sounds like thou doth protest too much. In real life he was a good man who loved his wife and daughter. Don Rickles is the kindest man you'll ever meet. Just don't sit in the front row at one of his performances. Commedy has fallen off the cliff. There are few great entertainers still living and almost none to fill their places. We should mourn the loss of great stars whatever you think of there material. George made us thikn and really look at ourselves for the beasts we really are. I met him when I was 8 years old as Mister Conductor and I've listened to him ever since. We're all going to die and none of us knows what's on the other side. If he's in hell then he's got good company and a top spot on the netherworld stage.Rest in peace Mister Carlin an thank you for making me cherrish my own two hands and feet and good mind. Tiffany
